Linking Adolescent Girls to Green Skills, my documentary for this project, shown at GIZ India Week (4 min)
The problem
The study looks at how adolescent girls in India can be linked to technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programmes, and ends with recommendations for policymakers. It was written by Dr. Sanjukta Mukherjee (Optima Solutions Consulting) and Manmohan S. Chauhan (GIZ India).
In the field
- Made a four-minute documentary with the girls training in Ranchi, Jharkhand
- Designed the layout and type system for all 60 pages
- Turned the study's methodology, framework conditions and scaling model into diagrams
- Designed the policy tables and gap-analysis matrices so they read at a glance
What I made
A 60-page report with an executive summary, three chapters, six figures and eight tables. I set the grid and type, designed every figure and table, and built the red chapter openers that structure the document.
What changed
- Documentary shown at GIZ India Week
- Published by GIZ, December 2025
Evidence
The four phases of the study, from foundational research to policy validation.
Indian policy, German development policy and socio-cultural conditions, mapped on one page.
The report's tri-sector model linking government, industry and community.
